"First time visiting, purchased Cornish hen dinner. Cornish hen was fried stuffed with Mac n cheese.The sides were okay but the meat was fried hard with a crispy crust and it was very dry. I was advised after calling the establishment that it depends on how they choose to cook the Cornish hen that day! First and last time visiting."

"I love their Lovie’s wings. And roll! If they threw little season on the fries. Awesome… The seafood platter very good. You must call that in about 30 mins ahead of time! They usually opened at 11am. I’m have to try the soul food on Sunday. No complaints. Just be careful getting out your car on Broadway… Because you know! City driving…They drive like their eyes behind their heads."

"Eat here. I promise you will not regret it. I got the Wings with the Lovie sauce and it was fire. The meat slid right off the bone, the sauce was tangy and had a perfect amount of heat, even though it was tossed in sauce it was crispy. The fries were seasoned and they were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside the way I like my fries. Thick cut. I was working across the street so I came back for their ice cream. The black walnut was nutty and sweet but not too sweet. Perfectly creamy and delicious. They bumped my favorite wing place down to second. This is my number one favorite wing spot. I will be a regular to Lovie's. Thank you for the food!!"

"Hard to find good places to eat with good service in the area. So many places that are gone now and we are stuck eating fast food. Don't pass this place up. I was greeted properly as I walked thru the door with amazing customer service and the food was even better. Literally the best Tripe sandwich I've ever had. Had to go back the next day to get another one. The burgers were thick and made with a good quality beef. I highly encourage you to stop by and support this small business. You will not be disappointed."
